Don’t Aim for the Stars…

Aim for the Stars, you will at least land on the Moon, is a metaphor used very frequently. To go after something big, so that you will end up getting at least something worthwhile. It is not correct to aim at something and get to something else. Precision is very important in achieving goals.

Too Close to be Seen..

Scientifically, a minimum critical distance is mandated for clarity in sight. Similarly, we will need to observe relationships from a critical distance, to arrive at the right conclusions. Applying all statistical stunts, from normalisation to bell curve, then drawing subjective conclusions and after everything, claiming to have done a perfectly professional and humane appraisal is nothing less than a catastrophe.
