Most valued 83 old
While we are ready to live all the character assassinations during life, each one of us yearn for a very honored departure. Wanting to be remembered for only the good things and to selectively ignore the not-so-good things about us. Who cares is what some may say just outwardly.
Personally, I will be glad if 5000 people turn up for my last day. Thanks to Robin Sharma, I got fixated to this number while reading his book.
Now think of our Gandhi 2.0, goosebumps,.. That’s the least to say. What a feeling, lump in the throat, bracing up with pride, feeling the responsibility to fulfill the dreams, his and ours,.. 2020 and ‘that plenty’. What a man..
Glad to be born an Indian, where a very vast majority of us are Value Driven. Spiritual and irreligious. Humane and caring for the World we live in, not so self centric as the perceptions depict us. Sorry for the irresponsible media, that we watch more evil about us than good. Yet thanks for some hearty souls who have created the ‘Good Makes Noise’ type of sites to remove our prejudiced perspectives.
Muslim, Hindu or whatever on religiousness is irrelevant for discussion. When we discuss the loss of a Great Humanely human being.
He was once called a Missile Man. Maybe for success in developing a Missile. Our neighborhood was adverse to smart to call their member a Missile Man. How would you compare a man with Godly purpose with a man with worldly purpose. Remember, he had gone for the technology beyond one mission. Soon it was revealed and in a flurry all of neighborhood bit the dust, when Our Man was flying Rockets and not kites.
Purpose in life is the soul binding force to earth, not even gravity.. I believe in purpose more than the Life itself.
Now, this Man has raised all doubts in my mind.
Whether I would be in active service to the society, or live a vegetable life till death.
Whether I would be wanted for my mindfulness or haunted for my mindless sins.
Do I write more books to read, or more ideas in the young minds to seed. Yet, I think I need more time to weed wrong perceptions. Undoubtedly, he is the most valued 83 old.
All said or done would not equate to the Man who has lived life selflessly. Earned the love of a world of humane beings. Reiterating after the Mahatma Gandhi, the Mother Teresa, Dr A P J Abdul Kalam is The Mahatma 2.0
Love you Man.
