Global Village

I’m trained on guns
But just a few.
As a soldier, I was sure
What I held, I knew.
I have travelled places
Across country, by far
Was content within borders
Even during war
When I now see my child break
Boundaries just like that
Why couldnt I do this then,
I thought I could, had I
Not an inch of me sought
Overseas, donno why!
Many choppers my son flies
Goes a thousand miles
LA and Rio like back of his palm
From Greece eats giles
Plays with guns, too good at it
Seen bloodshed, lot of it
Passports n visas never bother
Has none, don’t give a shit
Been a caring n doting father
Concerned n want him fit
Get him move out of couch
See the world, play out
On Video games, began a paunch
Tall he is, now growing stout.
