On Fire

Just to unwind, I closed my eyes and decided to stay put for some time. Off late, I stopped to unwind, and it is showing up on my health.

Back, I allowed my thoughts to go as astray, weird or wild as it can go. Thanks to the TV of my childhood, old visuals, of oblivious circles that occur immediately as we say unwind did occur to me. Allowing it to pass, I started seeing (eyes closed) some Hollywood graphics of moving away – and de-focusing the material in front of me. Pushing yet forward, I could see my head gear melting and getting sucked into some blackish fluid magma. Forcing myself further, I could see my body getting sucked into it and then I saw a flame. Can I differentiate flame from the fire ? I don’t know. Thoughts ran into a conflict of where is the Fire coming from. Then, I saw the candle and that was again in the form of my body but now it looked like waxy stuff.

Furthering more, I got into more conflict, what is that keeps the Fire, the wick or the wax. Obviously wax, was the immediate answer. No, prompted another voice from well inside me. Then what, does the fire happen without the wax, read the fuel. No. What is the significance of the Wick, read the channel. Does the fuel alone mean Fire. No. Then what is it in it, that enlivens Fire. How do we save the Fire from the gusts of winds and stormy turmoils that are inevitable and unprecedented. I don’t know.

But something stronger on purpose came out. Keep the Fire aflame. Not knowing where to find the lighter when the fire goes Off, it’s wiser to keep reserves of fuel, channelize it in right quantities, neither to flood the fire with fuel nor to fizz it out. Just keep it On.

Simple learning in a 5 minute unwind, Just keep the Fire On. Brighter and Burning Stronger, with adequate stock of the Fuel.

Very reference of Fire here could be out of the innumerable influences on me through the religious and other inputs I have been consciously or subconsciously assimilating over these years.  Sources are immaterial, when the learning is intense. Let us keep the Fire On.
