On your Twos (toes), not Fours

On your Twos not Fours

The quote in picture is an inspiration I received through a WhatsApp forward. Thanks to my well-wishers for such wonderful forwards, which continue to motivate me.

Many amongst us seem to have settled for lesser lives, in our bids to serve a secure family life and moreso to address our ill-gotten EMIs. In fact, we have killed our zeal for growth and compromised to delivering lesser goods to the very people we are put up with. Thus, we are far from realising our true potential and deceiving our society of what we really are capable of. We tend to go on with a false sense of security, when there is really none. No wonder, many of us are treated like the four-legged furniture. No point in cribbing that someone is on your behind. You made yourself a four-legged laggard, stretched so wide and have allowed access to your rear. Blame no one but oneself for the apathy. Quadruped, we are, not able to stand upright like the homosapiens are expected to.

Life has to move on. Anything that stays, becomes stale. Like water that flows, life is always better when live and moving. Do not allow yourself to stagnate.

On your twos (toes) – is not about jumping helter-skelter, but about the agility to move swiftly and make strides at the right moments in life. Agility may soon wear out as age catches up. So, start early, explore the world of opportunities. Re-read the quote above. “Don’t worry about failure. Worry about the chances you miss, when you don’t even try.”

Sprint, run, jog, walk, stroll, crawl, do whatever you can to keep yourself moving and live. Move – it is the best exercise for good health. Also, professionally, when we move, we learn more, reach wider horizons, broaden our outlook.

This world is not enough. So, get up and start moving. Look through the abundant opportunities. Move, on your twos (toes), not fours.

Best Wishes.
